15 Things No One Tells You About Moving to a Small Town
The Reader’s Digest talked to me about my moving from the big Lisbon to the small picturesque village of Boliqueime.
It was a big change and if you are considering the idea of moving make sure you are making it rationally. For me it was a “forced” moved. I wanted a real job and have had enough of internships. When I didn’t find one I moved back. As I was still in a place I didn’t wanted to be I took the time to focus on things I didn’t had time to.
Relax, enjoy, making new friends. I was also searching for answers in other forms. I remember a friend recommended mediation some years back so I started the search. A couple weeks later I meet Renata who had already been down this road. She was beginning her Mindfulness Journey.
I was sceptic at first but open minded. In my mind when I try something I have to fully try it to see if it works for me or not. So I gave it my best to Mindfulness and started to shift my mind. One thing is sure I’m not going back. Results speak for themselves: Molinum, a Soulful Country House Tourism project is fully fantastic!
At the same time, I’m investing in education and preparing other projects and ideas (stay tuned…). There is so much change going on in the world. So much problems on the verge of being solved. The only thing missing is more people opening up their minds. It all starts with you!
Thank you for your time and talk to you soon!
